BSNL is accepting the old 500 and 1000 rs notes at their office for Bill payments


Everyone is Tired by waiting in Que for exchanging and Deposits their old notes in bank . But if you are one them who are using Bsnl Postpaid connection then here is little Good news for you . The government owned Telecom network provider Bhartiya Sanchar nigam limited announce that they will accept Rs 500 & 1000 Rupees notes from their customers who want to pay their bills at Bsnl office.

Everyone knows that The old 500 rs and 1000 rs not no longer works for anything But Do you one the top Telecom networks provider which is Owned by Governments is Continue accepting that old notes that not works after Demonetization.

However they are not Exchanging old notes with new one but they allows only the Bsnl Customers Customers to pay their mobile Bills with old Currency .

I know the Cash payment using old currency which includes 500 & 1000 at any Shop , Market become one of the Worst nightmare after Nov 11, 2016 when Pm Modi announced the news that that notes will no longer works .

However its also Clear that few Government owned offices will allowed to take old expired denominations Notes till Dec 30, 2016 and the Bsnl is one of them. They are allowing that Currency for making the payments of all of their Services like Postpaid , Broadband , Recharges , Landline and so on .

As per official Announcement –

Individual BSNL customers can make the payment using old Rs. 500 & Rs. 1000 currency notes in customer service centres after submitting a copy of valid ID proof

Some High Light points –

  1. Only the Bhartiya Sanchar nigam limited Customers is allowed to Use old 500 and all 1000 rs notes across their offices for payments for their Services.
  2. Customers also need to carry the Proof of Identity like Voter id / pan card along with their Bsnl non paid bills.
  3. It is Valid till 30 December 2016 (The last date of Submit the old Indian currency in banks too ) after this date no one accept the 1000 & 500 rupees notes.
